Any use of the Gift Hampers Direct website is subject to the user agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. These conditions shall apply to all online transactions between Gift Hampers Direct.co.uk and any person, firm or company (“the Purchaser”) placing an order online with Gift Hampers Direct for the manufacture and/or supply of any goods (“the Goods”).Gift Hampers Direct, by accepting any order for Goods from the Purchaser, agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to purchase such Goods at the price stated on Gift Hampers Direct website and on the sole basis of the terms and conditions of Gift Hampers Direct stated herein. Price

In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website, Gift Hampers Direct reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price.  The customer will be notified by email informing them of the correct price, and given the choice to proceed with the order.
 

Ordering

We recommend that you place your order at least five working days prior to delivery to ensure your delivery times are met. Please ensure that you supply your own details to include a contact telephone number and email address as well as a contact telephone number for the recipient if possible. Please ensure all your addresses are accurate and include a postal town and postal code.

Website Security

Gift Hampers Direct provides a 100% secure payment system. All payment transactions will be processed by Google checkout. We do not store your credit card details.

The Purchaser should see a solid yellow padlock in their browser status bar (after the point where they have logged in to gift hampers direct) which indicates that the encryption is taking place. Clicking on this padlock symbol will display the certificate details, including issuing company and validity dates.
 

Online Payment

Gift Hampers Direct provide a secure payment system. All payment transactions will be processed by Google Checkout.
Goods will only be despatched once payment has been received in full.
Credit/debit card payments can be made using Visa, Delta, JCB, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo and Visa Electron.

Cancellations/Refunds

Cancellations

You may cancel an order up to 48 hours before the requested delivery date. However, if we receive notice of your cancellation later than 48 hours before the delivery date, you may be too late to halt the delivery.

To cancel your order if the goods have already been dispatched, you must notify our customer services team preferably by telephone to 01834 844993 and/or email to info@gifthampersdirect.co.uk and inform the receipient to refuse delivery of the item.This will avoid incurring extra postal charges.The parcel will then be reurned to us by our carrier.

 Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and the service we provide. If the goods you have chosen do not meet your approval, please contact us by telephone on 01834 844993 and/or email to info@gifthampersdirect.co.uk outlining the problem. A refund will be given if goods are returned to us within 7 days, unused and in their original packaging and condition. 

 

Damaged Goods

If the Goods are damaged the Purchaser should contact Gift Hampers Direct by telephone on 01834 844993 or email to info@gifthampersdirect.co.uk immediately on receipt of Goods outlining the problem. Damaged Goods may be required to be returned to our address above, suitably packaged. All returned goods must clearly show the full name address and telephone number of the sender. Gift Hampers Direct will replace or refund the items concerned.

Complaints / Customer Care

The Purchaser should inform Gift Hampers Direct immediately of any problems by Telephone 01834 844993, Fax 01834 844993 or Email info@gifthampersdirect.co.uk  . Gift Hampers Direct will do our utmost to investigate any complaints as soon as they are brought to our notice. We will endeavour to rectify any problems as soon as possible. Please note that the Purchaser is also welcome to contact Gift Hampers Direct on any issue relating to their order on the contact telephone, fax or email listed above. Gift Hampers Direct operating hours are from 09:00am GMT to 17:00pm GMT, Monday to Friday.
 

Substitutions

There may be occasions when it may be necessary to subsitute goods of an equal or higher  value. Gift Hampers Direct reserves the right to substitute any items included in hampers of similar or greater value, if for any reason those listed on the web site are unavailable.  Items shown in our photographs and the accompanying list are purely illustrative of a typical example. Photographic props such as glasses, plants etc are not included. 

Alcohol

No persons under 18 years of age may place an order or receive Goods from Gift Hampers Direct if the Goods contain alcohol.

Resrvation of Title

All goods remain the property of Gift Hampers Direct until they have been paid for in full.

Force Majeure

Gift Hampers Direct will exercise every reasonable effort to meet the requested delivery date. Gift Hampers Direct shall not, however, be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
 

Privacy Policy

Gift Hampers Direct collects the information provided by the Purchaser at the time of ordering and uses this information lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information is collected by Gift Hampers Direct to process the Purchaser’s order and also to provide the highest level of customer service possible. Under no circumstances will personal details including email addresses be passed onto any third party companies. In addition Gift HampersDirect will not email marketing material to the Purchaser unless prior consent has been obtained. If the Purchaser does not wish to receive any promotional material they can uncheck the 'Promotions' box in their personal details.
